On-line Shop

Given the small nature of our current business we do not have a large and somewhat difficult to understand set of terms and conditions. However we do have the following customer service pledges that you will be glad to know do not affect you statutory consumer rights.

We will actively seek to rectify all customer complaints at first contact wherever possible received through any of the contact options detailed on www.reekiedesigns.co.uk.

Where our product does not meet the expectations of the customer and is of substandard quality we will seek to offer the customer a replacement or full refund at no extra charge.

In the unlikely event that an item is not in stock at the time of order we will contact the customer to advise of the expected delivery date, where an order cancellation with full refund will be offered to the customer if they so choose.

All goods are dispatched using a Royal Mail first class postage service within 24 hours of order where possible. This usually results in arrival of goods within the UK within 3-4 working days from order. If you are in a hurry then it is best to phone us so that we can advise you of a speedier service and associated cost.

Countries within the EU and world wide are dispatched using air mail and should take less than 5 working days. For insurance purposes orders over a set limit will be notified upon order that they require a postage quote from Reekie Designs. In this instance the customer should contact Reekie Designs Limited to obtain a quote for the postage costs which can then be entered during the on-line shop process.

With all our postage charges we do not believe in making a quick buck with postage as an stealth tax. All postage is priced at cost to us. We do not charge you for our time processing orders and dispatching goods as we would not expect to be additionally charged by the checkout person in Tesco's for pricing up our shopping.

Product Design and Development

Given the endless variation in customer requirements from this highly personalised service we are unable to create a rigid set of company policies in this area. It is really a case of what the customer wants, they shall receive and where the impossible lies we will advise of this from the outset.

During the initial consultation we will meet with the client free of charge to discuss their requirements and see what services/solutions we can provide. It is at this stage we would detail our standard payment terms and contractual requirements, depending on clients requested contract format

Given the sometimes sensitive commercial and intellectual property nature of our work we would require to have the appropriate legal safeguards in place prior to disclosure to protect both the client and Reekie Designs Limited.
